Big news of the day: Cannula tube came OUT! She was doing great breathing on her own...so that means no more nose tube or bandaids on her cheeks...just her beautiful face:) So that put us down to only 3 monitors and 1 feeding tube on you! Feedings were also up'd to 20 , then 22 cc's...little pig!

The one obstacle that came in the way to Maylin's physical body was her umbilical cord. It was abnormally HUGE when she was born...and absolutely disgusting looking. The doctors on this floor had never seen anything like it, if that explains how odd it is! They had their pediatric specialist, Dr. Smith, come and take a look at it, and right then and there he performed a procedure by cutting it to about an inch from her belly button, and observing if that dried off. Quite gross!
Here are the pics of Darcy's spontaneous photo shoot of our Lady May when they came to visit:) I absolutely love them! Although I'll be more excited for Darce to take pics of her out of the hospital and completely cord- and tubeless! Amen!
LINZ, YOU LOOK AMAZING for just having a baby!!
