Our baby girl, Maylin Dawn, was born on July 18th, 2010, 9 weeks early at Parkview North Hospital in Fort Wayne. She spent 3 weeks and 2 days in the NICU facility. We created this page to keep our family and friends informed of our new life adjustments and updates on Maylin's miracles during her stay there.

Day 4

Wed. July 21st, 2010
Weight: 3 lbs. 6.8 oz
Bilirubin level: 7.5

Maylin was a glow worm ALL day today. She does NOT like the goggles! Opens her eyes every chance she gets when she has her feedings. Milk started coming in more today and started getting well ahead of her feedings. Went from 5 cc's to 9 cc's and is keeping food down!

A couple highlights from the day: I got to hold her for about 20 min!


Bright-eyed!

This was my typical way of getting close to her thru the glass...so hard:(

AND....my mom, grandma and Aunt Sherri came to visit and we went OUT, that's right...it was my 1st time out of the hospital in an entire week!

And where did we go?
Texas Roadhouse!! Very nice:)
Afterwards mom and I did a little baby shopping @ Babies R Us. It felt nice to have a spurt of normalcy outside of hospital walls!
