"Who could look into the eyes of such a miracle and doubt the reality of God." - Angela Thomas Guffey

Our baby girl, Maylin Dawn, was born on July 18th, 2010, 9 weeks early at Parkview North Hospital in Fort Wayne. She spent 3 weeks and 2 days in the NICU facility. We created this page to keep our family and friends informed of our new life adjustments and updates on Maylin's miracles during her stay there.

Little miss had a pretty restless night with the light and goggles again...but I got to hold her in the morning and make her feel better...so nice:)

At around noon Dr. Porter Ok'd the bili light to come off! That was great! He also had her oxegon levels from her nasal cannula to go down a bit since she was doing good breathing too. Another word on progress was to up her feedings again to 10 cc's until we reached 13 cc's each feeding. A great day for good news!

Here's my much "comfier" little one after a bath and a sleeper on that she could finally wear:) So nice! and NO goggles!! This made me a happy mom!

That afternoon Brandi and I went for a little drive....to downtown Ft. Wayne. We were trying to find Old Navy and could NOT find it, and the stupid Garmin thing took us to the ghetto of FW. OOps! It made for a fun car ride! ...and blizzards on the way back:) I was just happy to get out and about for the 2nd day in a row:)
